Disinterested experts tend to be quite rare in any field. When I see an (M) on a post that might be controversial, I check it out and go to the manufacturer's web site. Usually that is sufficient to determine the possibility of bias. However, if the posts are interesting I want to read them, even if they are almost completely self-servicing. (Which is not the case here, by any means, IMHO.)
