The Lynx would be perfect for that, at least that is why I bought it.

I just need to get some identical amplification to pull this off. Alan Jordan has/ is doing this I think, so you might want to contact him if he doesn't chime in.

Anyhow, the Lynx should be better than the Beringer and AJ has compared it to a Benchmark and they seemed to be in the same ball park. I would have to spend a pretty penny to get 3 channels of DA/AD that would surpass this, and I for one agree that an active system would be better in my case than a better dac and passive crossovers.

Thuneau now has a plugin for winamp and that is what I plan to use.

Anyhow, here is a link that got me started though he was using a pure digital chain to digital amps using the Lynx AES-16. I just subbed in the 2b. To a non-horn guy his system seems similar to yours.

I'll post when I get things going- probably in the next month or so.
