24/96 DACS

Gang,

The guide to the future looks like this right now. All 24/96 products will support 24 (also 16 via the OS) bits at 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96k. Basically 2 low jitter oscillators (one for 44.1/88.2 another for 48/96) will supply the clock to the USB controller running in ASYNC mode.

Later this month we will release a module for the Cosecant v3 for 24/96 using a Wolfson dac will some great results. We will then release a module for the Crimson using the same dac and then an Ultimate Crimson module using the ESS Sabre dac sometime before RMAF. Then the proton as allot of changes need to be made on that before we release.
