I hooked it up to a Mac for all of 30 seconds to verify that the USB problem was not a bad cable or a bad unit from Nuforce. I have been listening to it some using a mini cable from the headphone jack on the computer. But the USB issue has been so frustrating I really don't have much good to say right now. It looks very cool. The packaging is extremely fancy. I would have rather had a plain box and knock some $$ off the cost. The speaker cables are terminated with RJ-45 on the amp end and bananas on the speaker end - I would have preferred spades on the speaker end but at least the bananas appear to be of decent quality. The cables are short, but that wasn't a problem in my case. I guess you could build your own from ethernet cable or use a connector.

Obviously I am disappointed so far so will reserve further comment until I either get it running the way I want or return it for refund.
