iTunes blanks out DVDRom

I downloaded and installed iTunes 7.6 to a new computer and found that I lost my DVDRom everywhere, in System, in Foobar and in Nero6. Fortunately I did an Acronois backup a few days ago and managed to retsore the PC. System Restore did not work either.

Anyone know why?
