on a couple computers. Must be a video player your computer doesn't have..

as for the security.. I suppose it could get hacked, like other servers. I would agree that one would want to ck that out. My kid is a network pro, so I'd be talking to him about that. Good point, tho. I see that you could set it to allow public access to some folders. Eg, if you wanted a shared photo file or something. kinda like using any other server for that, I suppose.
