Hi,
I'm usimg the Berkely as a traditional DAC, going in to an MBL preamp. I am feeding it SPDIF through their SPDIF input which is actually has a BNC connector. Berkely recommends leaving their volume control set at a relatively high gain when using it like this. The system is hard-wired from the server to the speakers, really. I have to rip using the computer, but control is all wireless.
