Computer Audio Asylum

Now that I have my system in place, I'm really interested in downloading hi-res files such as from Musicgiants. Does DRM affect the sound, or only the issue of copying to another computer. I note that most of their "Hidef sound" files are DRM-free, but some, parrticularly the Stones Aftermath, has DRM.
