Hi Sunya,
I bought it sight unseen and unheard, based on Alan Goodwin's recommendation. I don't know anything about the power supply, you'll have to ask Berkely Audio. I think that it's multivoltage. Sorry, I'm not taking off the cover :) .
It sounds GREAT!
