We did all that as you state...... When working, it worked all over the house then when 10 feet from the AE it would loose the ip. It shows a strong signal but doesn't want to connect. My Mac sitting next to her is unaffected. After awhile she couldn't connect to the Netgear router at all no mater what we did...... strangely she could connect to the neighbor's router network but not her's...... "could not acquire ip address" came up no mater what what we did.
