The quality of the motherboard must also be considered. The 3 PCs I've built in the last 1.5 years have had no problems at all like this. I use excellent mother boards in my computers.

I don't have problems with USB audio and I'm not an engineer. Yes there are many variables, but that's what makes it fun for me. I guess this isn't for everyone.
