Wow, I would love to read responses to this question, because I'm in the same boat here. I've stretched my budget to about $150, and I can't seem to find much consensus out there... or a whole lot of information at all, for that matter.

Apogee Duet? You can scratch that off your list... way above your budget...

I haven't even heard of half the ones in your list, so thanks for posting this!
