It's not as easy as any of us thought. I think I've been getting a better musical presentation than my SCD-1 for awhile now, but I still keep getting SQ changes,,,, improvments I hope. But I have been thinking I need to haul out the SCD-1 again and see where I am. Different isn't always better, but it sure can be exciting hehe. Like I said, I think I am farther along than I've ever been, but lately I've lost a point of reference... too many changes in the system.

Just to make a point... I've found all areas of this computer stuff to make a difference... from the computer/dvd- cd-rom; the way you rip the files; programs used; programs shut off; operating system; soundcard/dac; usb cable; the software you use as a player... it's friggin endless. Computer audio has more roads to get there than analog. I hope you're using at least the flac to judge by (and ya, go wav/cue file imo...let's not start guys).... gl
