Geat post. I should point out that the dCS is a real top notch unit and probably far better than the bit converters in most other dac's. So using a pro editor to do the conversion still has credibility. I should also point out that I prescribed DC offset correction, sample rate conversion and gain adjustments in a particular order that should not be discounted. No converter can remove the DC offset nor do gain adjustments. In my opinion it should all be done as a systematic approach.
