1) Get the music out thru USB..Many ways to do this.2) Get a dedicated DAC (USB DAC) or a used higher-end DAC that you could use to get a true high-end sound (doesn't need to be very expensive) using a USB 2 Digital Out converter like the Trends UD-10.1 or the HagUSB.
I'm using the above method and it will be a much better one than using a soundcard like the EMU etc..
Contrary to what most would believe, PC audio is not a plug and play thing. The better the DAC, the better the results. Cables too will make a profound difference (USB cable included). Choice of playback software is also VERY critical. Experiment till you find a combo that sounds better to your ears in your set-up.
