My PC audio setup:
Core 2 duo laptop 3 gigs RAM connected to EMU 0202 that goes to a Cayin A50T tube integrated. Files are FLAC and MP3.
I love the convenience of having all my music from one source and that I can just switch a song by a mouse click. What I don't like is the sound seeming sterile still. The Cayin really helped with the soundstaging and airiness. I had this hooked up to a SimAudio Moon I-3 Integrated before and that did not have the soundstage that the Cayin presents. I love the vinyl sound but there is just so much more work just to enjoy my music. Vinyl to me is warmer and more natural sounding. I don't feel that with PC audio. Question is, what can I do to get the vinyl sound with my PC audio setup?
