I use J River to playback APE files via ASIO4ALL. CPU usage for J River and my soundcard driver combined is fluctuating between 2% and 6%. My server has 1gig RAM and an Athlon 64 3000+ processor. I am using it for internet right now and a torrent download. Not even breaking a sweat. And in the 18+ months of running the music server I have never experienced any sound anomolies.
