I am an audiophool. But: I hate going back and forth listening to small differences, but I do it when I have to because I know those small differences can add up to better enjoyment of the music. When I don't have to play the back&forth game I avoid it. I see no reason to use anything but WAV/CUE files because space is the cheapest thing I've ran across in what has been for me an expensive hobby. If I understand things correctly, space is the only reason to do flac... ok, I don't need space now, or most certainly in the future.... why take a chance... at all. I've spent too much time ripping to want to ever have to do it again.
