toslink vs. usb, i bet it's to close to call. Both have issues. i voted for toslink because ease of use. My mac is the remote wirelessly to the airport express. (an all apple system). And if you DAC re-times the the bits, there "should" be no jitter, right?(sure!) Even Gordon Rankin who i think is one of the "Brains/started all the PC stuff" started selling a toslink dac, i think it was for ease of use. I spent a "few" hours reading most of Gordon's posts before i bought an Express and hard drives, i all ready had the Mac's
