The thread below caused me to ask further advise for a classical library.

All of the schemes for pop music are based on a hierarchy of:

Artist
Album
Song

This simply doesn't work for classical, where the hierarchy is

Composer
Work (opus name and number)
Movement (song?)

There is a lot of other nice to know info like album, artist, conductor, etc that may or may not be in the tags.

I intend to rip with EAC and play back with Foobar. I want the library listing as above. Before I sped a lot of time reinventing the wheel, I'd like to know:

I think that I want the file naming convention to be composer, album. That is easy in EAC. Now WMP creates a multiple folder hierarchy. Does EAC do the same? Can I get the results I want by editing the tags? Will all of th info I need be carried into the tags by EAC or off of the web look-up?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Bob
