can also use wi-fi to connect to your mac. I use a Tapwave Zodiac with a wi-fi card to connect to my iBook. Good size screen and pretty quick. While I love the set up I wouldn't want to use it as my only interface with the computer...in fact I don't think Clicker can wake your computer up from sleep mode.
I use an iBook sitting atop my dac and use Clicker to control it. But you don't want a big screen in your listening room. Someone must make a tiny computer screen that you could turn off once your listening session is up and running. Also you could use a wireless keyboard or mouse (bluetooth) to access the computer and put it away once your session starts and then control everything with salling Clicker.
If you use an ibook at your listening seat, where do you put your additional HD's? And you do need additiopnal drives for back up.
