opticis usb optical cable + usb wire tail length

Trying to decide if I should go with 33 ft of Opticis & 6" silver usb (can't find gold); or, 9 ft of Opticis cable and 6 ft of gold usb cable just about the right length for me.

They don't make a 15 or even a ~20 foot Opticis cable.

Anyone have a link to 6" and/or 4 ft gold usb cable? thanks

I've been starting to wonder about difference in cables/length since a little experimenting with a usb extender turned up disappointing, (although not done experimenting with that and some new cat6 that sounds better... don't know if it will match the 5ft usb i have though.
