So I'm setting up a mac mini for my admittedly mid-fi system. Have heard itunes > BitPerfect > USB dac and the difference (with and without BitPerfect) is real. Is there an issue with getting the output from Tidal to the dac without the mac messing with it? I mean I'm paying $25/month for HiFi Tidal. I would hate to think it is getting up or down sampled prior to the dac.

Whatever sounds good...do that.
