getting 192 on the USB out of an HP 350 with Windows 7 pro 32

Hi All,I am using an HP 350 with Windows 7 Pro 32 bit, outputting via USB to a Gustard U12,and also via the computer's 3.5 mm. miniplug(after the internal realtek soundcard to a SCHIIT MJOLNIR driving LCD-2.

With the computer's miniplug,I am able to set the realtek soundcard to 24/192 resolution, and the resultant sound is quite good.

With the USB output into the Gustard U12,which is able to handle 192,the sound is quite decent up to 24/96,but going to 192 results in the sound breaking up entirely .I am not that computer literate, but what I did fool around with did not enable me to use 192.I tried swapping USB cables, but no change.I installed an up to date driver for the Gustard XMOS device.

Can anyone point me to a possible solution? Thanks!
