RE: UPnP questions....

Funny that you should mention using a Cambridge Audio network player,I had a similar experience with one of these (a Sonata NP30;I think) a few yrs ago.

I ended up "retiring" the player due to what appeared to be a lack of support for receiving lossless music files via Internet sources. I recently attempted to find out if there was a firmware update to make it possible to use with Tidal. Regretfully,this hasn't occurred.

I guess I've become a bit spoiled listening to nothing lower than (well played) lossless music for quite some time now. The 320Kbps feeds I'm able to receive aren't horrible,but I have no shortage of lossless music that I'm able to listen to.

It would have been nice to have a "Lossless Radio" for days that I'm too lazy to decide what I want to listen to. The Cambridge player (until I become aware of updates) will remain "Retired"
