RE: Moving ALAC, AICC and WAV files from Itunes to a different brand of portable player

No , you won't need to re-rip your CDs. Your i-tunes tracks should be held as a library in afolder either on your computer or on a hard drive or other device ( you don't tell us what you use). You should be able to locate this via your computer's file explorer facilty ( don't know what it is called in Apple world).

When you connect your new player to your computer this will also appear in the file explorer. All you do is copy and paste from one to the other, Sometimes this can be done as simply as this, some devices come with some software you need to install that does effectively the same thing.
