Chord Mojo - anybody?

Hi folks.

I'm currently looking for a DAC in the Chord Mojo range as living room solution.

Before ordering a device for testing I'd like to hear what you guys think about it.

Chord Mojo:

The price range looks OK to me.

Price/performance value I need to figure out myself.

The DAC would work as stationary DAC though.
Probably hooked up to 5V permanently.

Signals I'd feed via PI-USB and Toslink.
The automatic input switching would put me in the position to hook up
the TV via Toslink. That's a feature I'm looking for in particular.
I don't want to switch inputs manually.
As all the other audio equipment except speakers, the device will
be hidden. Manual and IR interaction would not work.

Now. Sound.

Most reviews I read are quite positive about the Mojo soundquality.

Comparisons and conclusions though reach from slighty better than an Audioquest Dragonfly 1.2 over slightly better than an iFi iDSD in some areas and finally the designer, Rob Watts, wants John Darko to run a blind test against a dcs Vivaldi. Hmmh !?!?!?

Then I stepped over a comment by another reviewer stating that a simple USB filter (AQ Jitterbug) puts the device one league up. The usual things are happening: Blacker background, lower grain,....
Ah. Ok. Here we go again.
Spending hundreds hours on his proprietary FPGA-DAC solution and forgetting to look properly at one of the meanwhile most widely known and biggest issues in the PC Audio world first. That DAC is a 2015 DAC! Hmmh!?!?

What's your opinion or experience related to the Mojo? Any other DAC suggestions?

Thx
