I was amazed at how diminutive the uRendu is as much as how massive and heavy the HD-Plex linear is. The red box is the 5V/3A Welborne Labs linear used for the Touch. What you cannot see from this perspective is that the HD is also twice as tall. Both have R-core trannies, but the size difference is considerable.
I'm using direct connections for both the Audiophilio converter and the uRendu directly behind the DAC. Each is supported by isolation pads to eliminate potential connector tension and have oriented the unit vertically following John Swenson's recommendation for optimum cooling.
