Home Computer Audio Asylum

Music servers and other computer based digital audio technologies.

I wonder if i have that version?

I bought a MacBook Pro and a Wavelength Proton in 2011, and never upgraded either until the day before yesterday, when i started converted to El Capitaine and a more recent version of Audivirana. I was content. I never used the Mac partition on my HD, except to listen to music.

Now, getting used to the OS, is a real pain. Even finding the versions of my apps is turning out to be a mystery.

Also, I used to be able to listen to Spotify through my old system. Now, it just wants to play Itunes.

And how do get the AudiV symbol to stay in whatever they call the row of app icons at the bottom of the screen? I have to start it from Finder/apps every time, even after I drag the icon there?

See what i mean?
