unfortunately it does not seem to recognize the Audio Research DAC8. Initially tried the supplied adapter and also a couple of generic (non-audiophile) cables I have around.
I've posted this on the CA forum and Jesus has replied that he will check into it.
BTW, the HD-Plex power supply is a beast. It is far larger and heavier than the linear I use for the Touch and simply dwarfs the uRendu unit. It was very easy to adjust to the desired 7V setting.
I see there is a tab in the configuration for "custom DAC" settings. Maybe it will need a bit of tweaking...
