Bottom line - MQA is a decade or two too late, in the market. If it will succeed, depends how well the proponents market it.
It appears to be a solution looking for a problem. Oh, I forgot. The industry has a problem now that DSD is passe. They need the next big thing to boost sales. Yup, they'll market the shit out of it, DAC makers will license it, and a whole new fresh line of products will hit the market.
Well, that's one scenario anyway. Maybe it WILL Revolutionize Digital Audio as the cover of TAS proclaims. Not holding my breath. ;-)
