just to say thank you very much for the info and ... me too i would be curious.
I am about to try Lollipop on a laptop (i am waiting to receive a new ssd), mainly because Lollipop is indeed a minimal OS and should support usb audio devices natively (?).
I should have at least one dac compatible with it.
But now you mention this new "Remix OS"." Curious to see if Remix OS on my PC would give similar results proving that all of the differences are just software "
very interesting indeed. I read often the debate "OSists versus HWists".
I am extremely ignorant but i would tend to be more OSist ... because i heard very good sound from very simple HW ... like the Squeezebox Touch (in the end a streamer can be seen as a very minimal pc with limited functions with a proprietary OS).
Have you already experience direct or not with Remix OS ?
