Just saw the new Absolute Sound issue that slobbers all over MQA.
Absolutely shameful cheerleading.
The cover claims:
"BETTER THAN HI-RES: MQA Revolutionizes Digital Audio"
and inside: "Digital Emerges From the Dark Ages"
and the most nauseating.."MQA is the most significant audio technology of my lifetime" (Robert Harley).
In the same issue, a full page add by MQA, and a rave review of a Meridian $22,000 CD player/DAC. No DVD-A or SACD playback, no DSD.
The fun begins. Let's see if Stereophile tries to top it if they come with a more rational approach.
