As an experiment, I used iTunes to rip 3 albums (AIFF) and stored them on a USB Flash drive. I then used the "Save Album Art as folder.jpg v3.4" script (described above) to add album cover art to the correct song folder. I then imported the three albums (USB) to my Aurender. This worked fine.

I was told that DSD comes at the moment in 3 different resolutions, DSD64, 128 and 256. Sizes vary but a typical album will be around 3GB for DSD64 and up around 9GB for DSD256 (wow!). These files are too large (for me) and I do not want to deal with them. Besides, I do most of my listening using Tidal Streaming.

My system sounds terrific with the new Aurender server and I like it very much.
