For those of you not familiar with Mark Waldrep, Ph.D., you should check out this site. Dr. Waldrep is head of AIX records and creates some very good sounding Hi-Res recordings. Mark has a number of opinions that run contrary to many audiophile beliefs. I posted one of his comments concerning audiophile cables.
The other day I listened to several AIX titles I have that I haven't heard in a long tome. They did sound very nice.
Mark uses a Benchmark DAC for his reference, a DAC I have reviewed and liked. But I do feel that USB cables do sound different even when they don't change the data. I have never listened to expensive HDMI or network cables.
