RE: I suspect this requires bypass right near the load

Anybody with half a brain cell left intact would know that there are bypass caps at the load i.e. at all the power pins of the USB Hub chip & on the PS input pin of the clock.

In this thread, I am giving my long experience in using these batteries with chargers - you can be suspicious all you like about this but experience counts for a lot more than uninformed speculation.

I'm sure the people who try this will be able to report on the other thread who is correct & who is uninformed.
