My easy chair in the living room is a scant 10-15 feet from the Time Capsule/wifi router and the MacBook Air prefers 5 GHz for some reason.
And yet on the deck upstairs off the listening room (in the hammock, as old guys do) regular 2.5 Ghz works better on my iPhone.
SONOS works fine hooked up via ethernet cable to the Time Capsule/wifi router. It doesn't seem to think it's on the same network when attached via ethernet to the AirPort Express even though that AirPort Express allows my NA-7004 to stream via Air Play from the same network the SONOS is on.
BUT...
I managed to change the wifi password on the Time Capsule/router so I'm ready for ANYTHING!
First they came for the dumb-asses
