U-Verse is copper to a hub somewhere nearby then fiber to wherever it goes.
Up until a year or so ago we had 3Mbps MAX DSL out here. The copper was so old and the boxes so far away that we couldn't even order 6Mbsp DSL.
Yes, Comcast s Cable not copper but I don't have Comcast.
Why?
I don't want to do business with Comcast.
