Firstly I am assuming you meant HS8s as I can't find anything called NS8.
Secondly unless he has a problem with picking up noise there is nothing wrong with using unbalanced connections.
With those two assumptions (HS8, no noise problem) he would need a cables with RCA on one side and 1/4 inch TS plug on the speaker end.
According to the manual HS8 do not accept unbalanced on the XLR input but the 1/4 jack input accepts TRS (balanced) or TS (single ended).
If either of these assumptions are wrong forget I posted this. ;-)
