AbeCollins told me on the email (he is still banned!) about a gadget from amazon (see below):
it is not infrared technology, but bluetooth! i ordered one and will inform about it;
a lot of positive reviews by people who are using it in the amazon pagep.s. in the meantime, i'm using the wireless small keyboard from my sofa!... :)
