J River problem

I tried to buy J River. The completed online purchase form was not accepted and generated an error message. No guidance was given as to the incorrect field. However I noticed that although I had selected Visa for payment the form had changed this to Mastercard once uploaded. I tried again and the same happened.

I am in the UK and have had problems before with buying from the USA with Visa. However on previous occasions i have been able to phone the vendor and they have manually entered my Visa details and pyment has proceeded with no problem. However J River has no telephone contacts. All you get from their help option is a referral to a wiki which is unsuitable for the resolution of a financial transaction difficulty.

Any suggestions?
