BobC, if you had bothered to read my posts, you might have seen that I told the OP that he had probably not lost his files.
I wrote my posts to help the OP. I have been responding to posts asking for help for years. I write about things I have some knowledge about: ripping and tagging, computer audio for classical music and JRiver.
Perhaps you might write posts that guide the OP through the process of understanding what went wrong and ensuring that it doesn't happen again. Start some other thread for your usual tirades about JRiver.
