I can understand from your posting that you have not had a problem ripping or playing using the software that your prefer. But the OP's question concerns the restoration of music files from a backup copy. Or that the origiinal files have been altered after making the backup (it's a bit ambiguous). Have you had any positive or negative experiences doing this?
