Try and do a factor reset. Sometimes these new printers do wireless networking. In fact, see if it shows up.
Sometimes you need to reset everything and re-install drivers.
Make sure you get the latest drivers from the site, and specify 32 or 64 bit OS.
Sounds obvious, but that's all I got.
I've had problems with a Canon wireless printer for which they stopped producing drivers for. With hours of effort and Googling I found a third party driver site that had a working driver on it but I pulled half my hair out.
Brother "combo" scanners, printers, and copiers that I've worked with install and work without problems.
Epson is good. HP is good but will cost you more, but their small format laser printers can last forever.
That's all I got.
Or just smash it with a ball bat gangster-style like on "Office Space" - that might make you feel better. Or, if you post it on Facebook it might make your friends laugh and make THEM feel better! :D
Cheers,
Presto
