Best advice. Ditch the computer. Get a streamer (virtually all of them support 24/192 and even higher, place it next to your DAC, have it sent the files via Ethernet, run short digital cable to DAC.You will never look back.
EDIT: When I say ditch the computer, I mean ditch the idea of having it communicate in any way directly with your DAC.
