Call OWC and ask them what they have and recommend. I did that a few years ago and they sold me a Samsung that is still functioning very well w the same amount of CD rips you have ahead of you. I know they are MAC specialist but optical drives shouldn't matter either way (PC or MAC).
I wouldn't expect to spend more than $50.
