So the article that Pono nay sayers have been quoting, with the juicy title "Engineers At Pono Admit Doubts" or some variation of that is an absolute nonsense write up masquerading as journalism.
First there are no NAMED sources. Just mysterious quotes from faceless supposed insiders.
Second, the Pono player was designed by Ayre Acoustics, who damn well believe in high resolution and having been making some of the best digital front ends on the market.
The final pathetic piece of non news is Lampizator owner Lukasz Fikus is qouted as saying high resolution offers almost indistinguishable benefits from CD.
That is funny. Cause he sells a line of DSD DACs and posts on numerous forms about the clear and unquestionable superiority of DSD.
