RE: how many amperes to power USB cable?

i totally agree with you! BUT to be able to compare my present battery charger with something better, i need to actually make the comparison, and to do that i should BUY a better USB power supply; that's why i'm asking for advice as for WHICH one should i try, with a reasonable price, easy to get, etc.

i've read very good things about the iFi Micro, but its price is 199€!!
