Since I am new on Tidal I keep discovering something new on Tidal every day. The most important was the following. For the last few days I would open tidal on my laptop and select the web player and listen. Very nice. Down at the bottom right it would say HiFi so I new I was getting top resolution. Wrong. When I checked settings AAC 320bps was selected. I had been opening Tidal in me internet exployer browser. The note in settings says to get flac resolution you must open Tidal in Chrome. I did that and checked settings. Sure enough Flac 1411bps was checked. Was there a difference in the sound. Oh yes. The 320bps had an edginess to transients plus an edgy sound to loud vocals. In Flac 1411bps everything was simply smooth and natural. So open Tidal in Chrome
