I have Ubuntu based system on a 28 inch 4k monitor as my main machine. Using the latest Nvidia drivers on a intel quad core i5 with 24gb of ram and 5 terabytes of storage. Very nice.
been using Linux in all of it various forms from many companies since 1997. It takes awhile to learn a little bit but it is amazing once you get that hang of it.
